About AJ
AJ Silver is the founder of the Queer Birth Club. They are a highly trained and experienced birth professional, Breastfeeding counsellor, Babywearing Consultant, published author, speaker and LGBT+ activist.
AJ has worked in the birth and baby world for almost a decade, cementing themselves as the expert in their field in the UK. AJ created the Queer Birth Club, the UK’s first LGBTQ+ Competency workshop for those working in the maternity or perinatal sector. It has been delivered to NHS trusts, universities, doula training schools, hypnobirthing schools, lactation consultants, private companies and more.
Their works have been shared by AIMS, Birthrights and The Student Midwife Journal. They have been guest on podcasts such as: Badass Birth, Plus size and Pregnant, True & Woke, and Blue MumDays.

- Any recording, sharing, screen-shotting or copying of any material is strictly forbidden – unless express permission is given by AJ Silver.
- The class will not be recorded to foster a safe space for everyone to be able to share and learn in a safe and open environment.
- This course requires participation and live viewing to benefit fully from shared ideas and organic learning.
- Times and dates are provided prior to booking, refunds will not be provided if the course is missed.
- In the event of genuine emergency (being called to birth etc) then a space on a future course may be offered at AJ Silver’s discretion.
- Certificates of attendance will be provided at AJ Silver’s discretion. This is not a ‘pass’ or ‘fail’ course, this workshop will be part of continued learning. Attendance certificates will be provided reflective of active participation.
- PLEASE NOTE: Requests to change workshop dates after purchasing a ticket are subject to a £30 administration fee.
